Clarke CC120

Battery chargers tested

Price: £34.48 Max output: 8.5 Amps

Clarke CC120

Date: October 2009

  • Rating:

As with some of its rivals, this seems a little expensive when you consider what the all-singing, all-dancing smart chargers offer.

We can only assume that the price is justified by the high maximum output. But this Clarke was far from the fastest unit here, and unfortunately there’s not a lot else to like about it.

Disappointingly, the leads are rather short, and it doesn’t even switch itself off at the end of the charge cycle.
