Halfords Fully Automatic

Halfords Fully Automatic

Date: October 2009

  • Rating:

Voted the Best Buy in our last test, when it undercut CTEK’s XS3600 by a big margin.

But now it’s the more expensive of the pair. True, for the money you get more than double the max output of our winner, yet it doesn’t charge at twice the speed.

And while the Halfords has numerous stages, including a pulsed conditioning mode, it’s just not as comprehensive as the CTEK.

We like the lead reel at the back, but the charge leads are too short.
