Pack claims a xenon look, but we beg to differ – the colour of our Osram samples was closer to a conventional bulb than most blue rivals.

For a coated bulb, we were impressed by the level of light, although the Cool Blue couldn’t live with the standard set by the brand’s Night Breaker.
