Most starting problems during the coming months are likely to be battery-related, as power packs really struggle in cold temperatures.

If you have a ‘wet’ battery, check it is topped up. Clean and lightly grease the terminals, and check all connections are tight. And always consult the handbook before disconnecting the battery, to avoid problems with alarms or sound systems.
