Look beyond the hard-to-read scale, and the HR 206 is a brilliant budget buy.

The test bolts proved no bother, even those tightened to 40Nm.

The soft handle made this comfortable, too.

However, the loop at the bottom broke after squeezing too hard. All in all, it gave excellent results for a cheap wrench, and the jaws were detailed, accurate and didn’t wobble, either.
