Similar in style to the Stanley, the Draper Expert has the most basic look of the wrenches on test.

However, that didn’t stop it from loosening our bolt at all three levels, although 40Nm was a little uncomfortable without a soft-grip handle.

The jaw opens to 23mm when fully extended, but there’s a serious amount of play in it, meaning we couldn’t score the Expert higher.
