The Halfords Adjustable’s ability to undo all the bolts on our test impressed.

The 40Nm bolt was a little bit uncomfortable in comparison to the others, but a 22mm jaw opening and accurate gradation scale made it stand out above most other hard-handled wrenches.

Although the Irega is much easier to read, the Halfords is still a decent buy for under a tenner.
