Pioneer DEH-P7100BT

iPod head units tested

Price: £333.50

Pioneer DEH-P7100BT

Date: October 2009

  • Rating:

Sleek and sexy, this unit impressed from the off – although the array of cables for the hands-free phone function made fitting awkward. The USB input is at the rear, so if you want to run your iPod through this Pioneer, you will need a cable wired into your glovebox. Once installed, however, it has an intuitive tilting volume knob to control your player’s menus. While the price let it down, it did provide ID3 tags so we could see CD track names.
