Unusually, the CP2400 offered a side handle – left fitting only – which was welcome with 441Nm of torque and 2,600ipm pounding away on our fasteners.

Predictably, we could find nothing to defeat it, although its 3.3kg weight gave our muscles a real workout.

Although only one battery was included, it was 24V, the joint highest voltage here. Overall this was a good mid-range choice.
