Light but well made, the 1.5kg Panasonic had a lovely, smooth brushless motor (no fiddly replacements to worry about), and a button for low, medium and high power settings to prevent over-torquing.

The charger for the pair of heavy-duty 14.4V 3Ah batteries took either 50 or 35 minutes.

Despite giving away lots of power, it hammered the hugely torqued hub nut into submission. But the high price counts against it.
