This and Atera’s Carver II 440 have the same price tag, dual side-opening lids, 75kg load weight and five-year warranty. Yet despite this model’s larger volume, we could only just get all of our luggage in, and closure was a two-man job. That’s partly because of the lid’s shape, but also due to the bulky fittings which sit 90mm above the base.
