The substantial Clarke bag narrowly missed out on a place on the podium, and it is still a cost-effective option if you want plenty of workshop storage. The external pockets are more useful than most as they have flaps to keep tools secure, plus there’s an internal pair alongside a good selection of simple stitched pockets. Other neat touches include shoulder strap padding, rubber protection for the base and a comfortable cover for the handles.
