Roadhawk RH-1

Aimed at fleet drivers, the Roadhawk RH-1 is intended for insurance purposes, rather than recording fun drives, and includes GPS tracking and data-logging features. An emergency button can even mark the recording in the event of a crash. It’s keenly priced, and has a slim design and easy-fit suction mount. Our pick of the data-logging units.

An excellent product. It comes with a choice of window mounts, stick on or suction pad which makes switching from car to car very easy. This model comes with GPS and "incident" button for manual override so better than its cheaper rivals and a more expensive rival doesnt have GPS. Standard factory settings cause it to hold recording even when hitting a bump in the road but this doesnt bother me. The card is easy to remove and clip into USB key. With this on board I feel greatly re-assured that if the other drivers do something silly in front of me I will have an on board witness as proof of my innocence. If you decide not to get one its probably because you dont want others to know of your own driving faults.
