As with our winning reel – the Hozelock Auto Reel – the Clarke ticks a lot of boxes, as it has the same easy automatic spring-loaded wind-and-retract system, plus there is even less to assemble. It is a fair bit heavier than the Hozelock, though, despite having the same length of hose. Plus the fittings could be more
comprehensive, as this was the only unit not to come with an automatic water stop connector.
