If money was no object, then this is the freestanding reel we would most like to have when washing our car. You get a 40-metre hose that winds in and out like a dream, thanks to a geared mechanism that requires the minimum of effort and also guides the hose into snag-free layers. There are clips for the hose and tap connectors, but we’d like to see a multi-pattern gun rather than a nozzle included when you’re splashing out £75.
