Neatly finished in a thick hammer paint, this tiny vice had the smallest jaw opening on test, at only 35mm. And even though it’s a clamp-on model, it turned full circle. But it was very basic, with fixed jaws and no V-grooves. In fact, we found the jaws quite wobbly and they skewed noticeably to one side when gripping the bolt. Yet while the Clarke flexed considerably, we still managed to get to the 20Nm figure.
