Compact and great for slipping in the boot, this Hilka will give you a good work-out – as it needed plenty of pumping. No less than 13 strokes were required to hit 20cm, although it did start from a low 13cm. Sadly, the thin handle with its loose grip wasn’t the easiest to use, and we’d have liked to see a bigger saddle to spread the load.
