RECOMMENDED Not the cheapest, but you get a lot for your money with this MVP, which is easily the best jack to use. It’s around 60cm long with a massive 14cm diameter saddle, yet needed a mere two pumps to hit its 49cm full height. Plus, it went down to 13cm. Not for keeping in the boot, as it’s heavy, but our choice for garage use.
as above, link for where to buy from would be great! cant find anything on this jack either
found it!

Hi Hugh, We've passed your questions onto our products team - we'll have some options for you very soon.
Thanks!

The G689 doesn't seem to be sold in the UK any more – we haven't re-run our trolley jack test since last year.
Our best buy then was the Clarke CTJ2QM. If you’re having problems with the MVP we recommended, it might be worth looking at the £30 Clarke.
MVP is quite rare in the UK these days - we sourced the MVP from Saxon Brands (www.saxon-brands.com, 01488 689 400, sales@saxon-brands.com) but they no longer stock the brand. There is one MVP jack sold by Jays Performance but it's not as robust as the G689 we tested and recommended. Here's the Amazon link or you can call direct on 01259 739026:

If you want something a bit more robust for garage use, there's a good range of Clarke jacks on www.MachineMart.co.uk - this is their best-seller:

We hope this helps but let us know if you need any more details. Thanks for getting in touch!

Like almost all the reviews this one is most useful but an extra improvement would be information as to where to buy the reviewed products. Most are obvious but some like the MVP Superline G689 car jack are nowhere to be found!
Yup even the great Google can't help.
As you can guess I need a new trolley jack.
