Despite the multiple offers and discounts, this was narrowly the most expensive on test, along with ATS (opposite) – suggesting the national chains need to play catch-up with online specialists. It adds £11.50 a tyre for valve, balance and disposal, which doesn’t help. Still, there are 600-odd outlets, and the site contains lots of useful tyre info.
