Angelwax AnGel Trim Gel

Restore faded plastic and vinyl with interior cleaner

Angelwax AnGel Trim Gel

September 2011

Price: £4.39 (500ml)

Top maker Angelwax has brought out new AnGel Trim Gel to revive cabin plastics and vinyl, and we tested it on a sun-faded dash.

First thing we noticed was how soft and sticky the water-based, silicone-free formula is – so it’s easy to use too much. Follow the instructions and dab on a small amount, and you’ll prevent smears when wiping.

It’s best to use a microfibre cloth to spread the product, and it cleans well. Dust, scuffs and other light soiling were shifted easily. We then buffed to a shine.

One application made a big improvement to the grey dash vinyl. A second go restored its original colour. The silk finish won’t suit all, but the slight fruity smell isn’t too overbearing.

Our sample pot isn’t on sale in the shops; instead, AnGel Trim Gel is presented in a 500ml bottle with a ‘trap-cap’ system for easy dispensing on to a cloth. And at £4.39, it looks top value.

Rating: ★★★★
