The ITC was the cheapest conventional
square design saw, although it was well made with alloy end-pieces and a steel cross bar. It offered plenty of storage, and the blade was proud of the frame, making it more versatile. The quick release was via a flip-down lever, and dead simple to use. However, it was particularly fussy about the tension - a little too much, and it would slip off.
