A small screen and tiny buttons stop this attractive pocket-sized unit from winning the higher honours it deserves for its excellent level of information. Once you're familiar with the system, the Quest calculates routes in seconds, and wires are not needed because it can run off an internal battery. What's more, UK and Ireland maps can be replaced with European versions by loading CD-ROM data via a computer.
