Snooper S2 Neo

Text: Dave Pollard Date: March 2005

  • Rating:

It's cheap as chips, but the S2 - which looks as if it's from the set of Close Encounters - acquitted itself well, despite its basic spec. It had two beep levels, plus red or blue flashing lights, depending on whether you were above or below the limit.

Performance was generally good, although it missed a laser mobile site and was confused as to the direction of one camera. On test, it sporadically lost the GPS signal. Nevertheless, if cash is tight, it's worth a look.
