An impressive entry from Draper's Expert range. The batteries give longer work periods between charges than the JCB's, while low-speed torque and full-power drilling are slightly better, too.

Draper includes a decent case, a couple of double-ended driver bits, a spare battery and a fast charger. Only the high price and lack of side handle deny it top spot, but it still claims our Recommended prize.
