It soon became clear that this Karcher unit wasn't going to be a match for its rivals. It struggled to cut through dirt and failed to shift brake dust competitors blasted away with ease.

Admittedly, the storage was excellent and the price good, while it was easy to move around. However, the K2.98M was fiddly to put together, and the detergent bottle kept falling off.
