Some products simply exude quality, and the Screwfix 17027 is one of them. The 16mm leads are surprisingly strong and supple. And the clamps boast sharp jaws and more than adequate springing, plus the minimal heat gain was among the best.

The effective insulation helps to keep the size of the grips down, making them easier to connect in tight spots.
