Considerable attention has been paid by Clarke to the appearance of this tool. The smart satin grey body contrasts well with the red soft covering on the release lever, and the brass-look adjuster screw.

Grip is every bit as good as the Recommended Laser, but the jaws are short, and their maximum opening is less than average, too. Our main complaint, however, is the tight adjuster screw.
