How can Laser make any money on a tool at such a low price - especially as it's well put together and works so impressively? Grip isn't quite up to the winning Mole, but it's not far behind. The big minus with the jaws is their narrow 4mm width, although this is compensated for by a very respectable maximum opening, and a better-than-average jaw length. As with the Clarke, it has a rather tight adjuster screw - but it's still our Recommended choice.
