Don't let the mouse-like squeak put you off this Polco. Amazingly, it out-puffed its big brother (Polco high volume single barrel), adding a whole 5psi more than the twin cylinder version, which costs ΂£5 extra.

Admittedly, it looks and feels a bit low-budget, but it's one of the cheapest here and offers a rubber heel plate, a feature some more expensive rivals lack. Cheap, cheerful and tuneful, it's our Recommended single barrel purchase.
