Price really hurts this pole from mail-order specialist Car Parts Direct. Otherwise, it is a decent unit. It has sliding and pinned ring fasteners, a red warning flag and storage pouch. Oddly, despite its similarity to other poles, the MP490 is rated at only 1,800kg, which may limit its use. The Clarke TB2 is a third of the cost, but with its higher load capacity offers extra flexibility.
