While it looks related to the Hi Gear, there are small but important differences. The Halfords' portable supports have a single serration, compared with the Hi Gear's seven, thus offering less versatility, but this model had a very accurate rotary gas control. Other than that, its Piezo ignition, fuel canister and performance were identical.
