As with the winning Cosmo, RAC's cordless version runs on 12V. But this allows a rather neat feature to be pro-vided. Should you run down both battery packs, an extra lead allows you to power the tool from your car's cigarette lighter. Despite this, it struggled to match the Cosmo for muscle.
