Price really hurt this unit - it cost nearly four times as much as the Draper. But Ring gets everything else right. The 11W tube is just as bright as the bulb lamps, and the long lead has crocodile clips and a cigarette lighter plug. Also, the tube's impact-absorbing rubbery plastic construction is very solid.
