When a product is keenly priced, features or performance usually compromise it. But that's not the case here. In iron mode, the Rejel heated up fast, took our test crimp in its stride and did OK with the thick cable splice. It can also be used as a flame torch, and as a non-flame heat source for shrink-wrap. Five tips, plus a roll of solder, make this our gas Best Buy.
