Just under ΂£20 is pretty steep for a basic iron such as this, although it works well. The bulky tip eats up the 75-watt heat output, which means getting to the right temperature takes a while, but performance in both soldering tests was impressive. However, the iron seems to have a mind of its own, continually twisting against its lead - however you hold it.
