When you're paying this much, you know you're getting a top-range deck. The Clarion has a spec list a mile long; you can even record CDs to its on-board memory in MP3 format. We loved the touch-screen feature on the large, central display, as it's easier to use than a load of fiddly buttons. But plugging in the DAB box meant the price was hugely inflated - even though it includes an aerial - and we couldn't find more than three ensembles.
