This French-made offering had a pleasant American accent. The X-930 was very light and always found satellites quickly. Entry was via a touch-screen using a finger or, for speed, the provided stylus. And although the four-figure postcode search was poor and the windscreen mount allowed too much movement, the routing was accurate and recovery after a wrong turn fast. This would have taken a podium place had it not been for a couple of missing villages on the database.
