The price may be at the upper end, but this carrier's magnetic bases stick directly to your roof - meaning you won't need to shell out for any bars. Obviously, you cannot use this on aluminium cars or really curved roof panels, and care must be taken to avoid scratches, but a supplied tester makes sure your roof is suitable. Best points are space for three pairs of skis and high roof clearance, while the main niggle is dire instructions.
