A well priced choice for winter sports-loving families, thanks to the wide jaws which can secure six pairs of skis or four snowboards. We like the fitting procedure, too, which removes the need for tools and is also thumbscrew-free. Apart from this, the Nova is similar to Thule's top carriers; there's a good mix of alloy and plastic, but overall finish isn't quite up to its rival's standards. Our Recommended buy.
