This one wins the style crown easily, as it looks like a trendy amp from a custom in-car entertainment kit. But a noisy fan came on as soon as it was powered up, sapping the battery even without a load. The unit was quite happy with all the equipment up to the 100W light, although this caused the fan speed to dip. The biggest bugbear was the short hard-wired lead, which could make life difficult.
