The big Nikkai coped with surges up to 1,500W, plus continuous loads up to a National Grid-sapping 600W. There was no plug - only the thickest heavy-duty clip-on leads here, which coped easily with the 300W arc light, although at that rate, it was draining the battery even with the meter running! A competitive price seals its Recommended award.
