Although it's the oldest of the three standalone units tested here, Pama's offering has the greatest number of mounting options - sun visor clip, sticky Velcro strips for the dashboard and a screen-sucker bracket. It also has a small, wired mike, which is handy when the unit is attached to the visor. But its age showed with the relatively poor battery life and, while the speaker quality was good, the mike performance was a bit crackly.
