This wrench definitely didn't feel as enthusiastic as some rivals, so we questioned the claimed maximum torque figure - until it sailed through all our tests. The SIP's smoothly graduated trigger easily controls torque, and we like the rubber-textured grip. But there are no sockets, and only a single NiCD battery is supplied - so you won't be able to do uninterrupted work on lengthy jobs.
