None of the cordless products here feels cheap and nasty, but this offering is especially well made, while its compact size makes it very wieldy. Makita's maximum torque claim seems low compared to the competition's, yet our tests indicated that it's very accurate. Two batteries and a fast charger allow near constant use, while the graduated trigger makes it a doddle to get the torque just right.
