Encased in rubber and with a built-to-last body, this feels like a proper workshop tool. Yet it is more awkward to use than rivals. Its long neck is handy for reaching tucked-away valves, but makes the unit cumbersome. It holds the reading, though, and there is a bleed valve. The dial is clear and legible, but the RDF wasn't as accurate as we'd have liked.
