Pistol-grip shaped to fit your hand, the 73183 was consistent but inaccurate in its readings, and has a distinctly plasticky feel. We weren't convinced it would stand the test of time, either, as the gauge was already starting to show signs of wear while we were using it. In its favour, though, are the bright display, rubberised grip and automatic power on/off feature.
