Motorola IHF1000

Price: £189.99 Display? No

It was déjà vu with Motorola’s premium kit, which has the same basic parts as its cheaper sibling (opposite). It adds a smart ECU – clever enough to require a 32-pin plug – which offers a roster of voice-controlled functions, from speaking a complete number to speed dial, but we found recognition varied wildly with ambient noise, negating some of its usefulness.
