Car Magic Spray & Wipe

Price: £12 (+£5 p&p) Quantity: 1,000ml

Fresh off the boat from Australia, this is the cheapest spray on test. The manufacturer claims that you can take as little as 16 minutes to clean a car, but our test showed that you’d have to move pretty quickly and put in a fair bit of effort to match that sort of speedy performance. The main problem is that the spray is rubbed in using a synthetic chamois, which is harder work than using a terry cloth. The bodywork really needs to be buffed after use to get a good shine.
