With Europe and North America covered, the Via Michelin site started well. The route finder could handle three waypoints, but incredibly it couldn’t find any of the ones we wanted. Despite this, it calculated the route quickly and accurately, and offered instructions that were laid out with helpful icons. We also liked the click-on close-up maps for each one. As you would expect, there were plenty of options relating to hotels and restaurants, although the site was plagued with distracting adverts.
