AA Route Planner

Internet site: www.theaa.com Coverage: Europe

This was easy to use from the off, with the route selector available on the AA home page. It has a seven-figure postcode search and useful five-waypoint option, but it couldn’t find our first stop-off. The route came up in around 10 seconds, with a comprehensive list of instructions and handy road-style icons alongside each one. Traffic problems could be checked at the time of the route, but weren’t specific to it. The raft of adverts irritated, but not enough to stop it taking the win.
